Inside the Course Modules

This is a brief summary of the Modules inside the course.

Introduction: The Product

This extended IGCSE Mathematics course provides a clear, structured approach to mastering math, with step-by-step lessons, practice questions, and real past paper practice—giving students the confidence and skills to improve their grades and excel in exams.

Module 1: Number

Basic operations: Integers, decimals, fractions, and mixed numbers.

Number properties: Factors, multiples, prime numbers, LCM, HCF.

Square numbers, cube numbers and their roots: List the first few of each.

Indices and surds: Laws of indices, simplifying surds.

Standard form: Writing and interpreting numbers in standard form.

Approximations: Rounding, significant figures, and decimal places.

Ratio, proportion, and percentages: Sharing in a ratio, direct and inverse

proportion, percentage change, profit/loss, and compound interest.

Sets: Basic set theory concepts, Venn diagrams, union, intersection, and complement.

Number sequences: Arithmetic and geometric progressions, finding terms and sums.

Module 2: Algebra

quadratic).

Module 3: Geometry

2D Shapes: Angles, triangles, quadrilaterals, and polygons.

Congruence and similarity: Properties of congruent and similar shapes.

Circles: Circle theorems and tangent properties.

Mensuration: Area, perimeter, surface area, and volume of 2D and 3D shapes.

Coordinate geometry: Midpoint, gradient, and equation of a line.

Module 4: Trigonometry

Trigonometric Ratios: Sine, cosine, tangent, and their applications to right-angled and non-

right-angled triangles (sine and cosine rules).

Exact Trigonometric values : for angles 30,45, 60 and 90

Bearings and navigation: Using compass directions and bearings in calculations.

Module 5: Statistics

Testimonials

Exceeded my expectation

The curated maths lessons exceeded my son's and my expectations. The explanations were succinct and clear. The pace was perfect. The assignments after every lesson really test mastery of the concepts taught, and learners can self-mark the assignments. I highly recommend the lessons to parents who want to strengthen their children's maths skills.

Hello!

I'm Joseph Kasidhi

A Maths teacher with more than 20 years experience teaching in Kenya and the UK.

I know exactly what it feels like to struggle with math. A long time ago when I was a student myself, I often found myself staring at complex problems, feeling frustrated and unsure of where to start. I saw bright classmates breeze through equations while I wrestled with formulas that never seemed to make sense. But that struggle led me to a realization—math isn’t about natural talent, it's about the right approach.

As a teacher in both Kenya and the UK, I’ve met countless students who share the same frustration. I’ve seen intelligent, hardworking learners lose confidence because they just couldn’t crack the code of math. And the worst part? Many of them had been trying their best—watching endless YouTube tutorials, attending extra lessons, and spending hours on practice papers—only to end up more confused than before.

The problem isn’t a lack of effort. The problem is that most math teaching methods focus on memorization instead of understanding. That’s why I created a comprehensive mathematics course based on the Cambridge and IGCSE syllabus.

My goal is to help students not only master math but also achieve high grades and open doors to top universities worldwide.

If you've ever felt stuck, frustrated, or like math just isn’t your thing, I want you to know that there’s a way forward. And I’m here to show you how..
